Not an appliance.
A work that breathes.
“Air purifiers hide in white plastic boxes. VÉRA stands at the centre of the room.”
Born of an atelier tradition that treats engineering as craft, VÉRA carries pure function into sculptural form.
No screen, no plastic; the fan is hushed inside a mass of solid stone. Within the glass, thousands of living cells photosynthesise quietly around a warm column of light. The first object you notice in a room, and the last you forget.
A three-phase alchemy
A filter cleans the air. VÉRA goes one step further: it passes the air through a living ecosystem and returns it renewed.
The Dry Base
Hidden within the travertine: an H13-class HEPA and activated-carbon cartridge, designed to capture dust, PM2.5, pollen and VOC odours.
The Wet Reactor
Filtered air is released as micro-bubbles into a living Chlorella vulgaris culture inside double-walled borosilicate glass. Through photosynthesis the algae draw in CO₂ and release oxygen — a small ecosystem breathing in the room.
The Light Column
A 2700K frosted-glass core and rising bubbles cast underwater caustics across the room. As air quality shifts, so does the tone of the light.

Only honest materials
- i
Honed Roman Travertine
A solid Ø 360 mm block. Its pores are gas bubbles millennia old; its mass absorbs the vibration of the motor.
- ii
American Walnut
Lathe-turned solid collar and crown, edges softened by hand to a 2 mm radius, satin oil finish.
- iii
Champagne Brass
Circumferentially brushed with an anisotropic sheen. Each piece is signed with a laser-engraved serial number.
- iv
Borosilicate Glass
Double-walled laboratory glass with an 8 mm insulating gap, with a superhydrophobic coating and ultrasonic cleaning to keep it clear.

Each VÉRA is made once.
No cart, no stock. Every piece is designed in our atelier for the architecture of the space it will inhabit — then numbered and signed.
